THAIFEX – HOREC Asia to showcase innovative solutions and gather industry experts at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani.

Meetings & Conventions Asia – April 5, 2023

THAIFEX – HOREC Asia, a trade show catering to the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant and Café) industry, is set to launch in Bangkok come 2024.

Taking place from 6-8 March 2024 at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, the all-new tradeshow is the collaboration of Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse.

Phusit Ratanakul Sereroengrit, director-general, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), noted that after three challenging years of Covid 19 restrictions, the HoReCa industry is now seeing a surge in consumer demand as people are eager to return to travelling, dining out, and other forms of entertainment. In 2023, Thailand is expected to receive more than 20 million foreign visitors.

Mathias Kuepper, managing director and VP Asia-Pacific of Koelnmesse, which also organises THAIFEX – Anuga in Bangkok, said that expanding the portfolio and launching an extension specially tailored to the hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors is a strategic move.
